Bloggers Muzzled
In a hush-hush directive, the Government of India has asked all the Internet Service Providers (ISPs) in India to ban various blogging sites. The government has so far not issued any official release but analysts believe that the prime reason behind the government’s move is to prevent sleeper terrorist cells from accessing instructions contained in blogs. It is seen as a preventive measure to control the spread of sensitive information and communication between terrorist groups through blogs.
It might be an issue of national security that prompted the government to take such a stance, however, it has also trod on the fundamental right of the citizens of India.

Bloggers Muzzled will provide 360-degree coverage of the issue and we will run with it for as long as it takes. Now, the ball is in your court. Post your comments. Share your unique take on this development. Exercise your freedom of expression before you too are muzzled. Remember if you are not part of the solution then you are part of the problem. You decide.
