Roads were inundated with barely 30-minute downpour on Friday, rubbishing claims of the civic agencies that they are geared up for monsoons. Adding to the chaos, sewage was seen spilling on the roads at places like Golf Course Road, Rajiv Chowk, Udyog Vihar Phase III and Sector 40. Though orders for the construction of drains have been issued, but it seems, even rainwater doesn't flow into them, apparently due to faulty plans.
