Are trade unions responsible for Maruti Suzuki plant riot?
Though trade unions have a major role to play, keeping in view the rights of workers, which could be otherwise exploited by cunning managements. But many a times, they have been seen hurting the workers more than serving them. It seems the union was bullying the management at Manesar plant and as has been heard from various sources, the riots started in the factory only after the union reportedly prevented management from taking disciplinary action against a worker who beat up a supervisor.

here in this case there is no doubt that vested interests of some trade union leaders are totally responsible for whatever happened at the Manesar plant.
