Bharat Mata Ki jay is a very thoughtful and patriotic Slogan. It straight away means that we all Indians, irrespective of religion, Languages, casts , are the children of single Bharat Mata, hence we are all equal. We all work together to protect our Motherland Bharat Mata.

Chanting of slogans such as ' Bharat mat ki jay' adds to ones patriotic fervour. But the fact remains, are we going to oppose this for the sake of opposing it? I agree this is not the only act to show one's love for the motherland. As Modi opined,'You are patriotic if you keep yourself and your neighborhood clean, continue working hard in your field so that you excel.' Nobody else has any right to tell us what we should be doing to prove our love for the nation, but that doesn't mean we should start showing disregard to every suggestion calling it anti-religion. As far as this chant is considered, A.R.Rahman sung 'Maa Tujhe Salaam' should his song then be considered anti -islam and blasphemous. No, rather the fact is such slogan enthuse a new lease of life to our sagging spirits and boost the rush of adreniline to make us do the impossible. There is no denying the fact that such slogans connect us .Who can ever forget the significance of 'Vande Matram','Bharat mata ki jai' during India;s struggle for freedom.

After being a human, our next identity is the nation to which we belong. God made humans and not communities, these are made by human themselves. Everybody should feel proud singing 'BHARAT MATA KI JAI' . So please stop this nonsense.

Being a citizen of India there lies no doubt on this topic ... Let me sight an example -When we visit some foreign country then we are not referred with our religion but as Indian. According to me every citizen of India should be proud to be an Indian

Yes I think nobody could hesitate in chanting the slogan bharat mata ki jai because it is not related to any religion. We all are people related to one land. So I think religion never matters.

'BHARAT MATA KI JAY' does this sentence contain any religious word.?..obviously NO..!! This all is shit out of political mouth...its really ok we cant force anyone to say this and its nothing to do with hindi and muslims . Non hindi speaker indians can use other synonyms of MATA.

I think everyone has freedom of speech but it doesn't give you the right to exploit our country's slogan's or any stupidity which could exploit our nation's pride straight away.

In my opinion "Bharat Mata ki Jai" is one of the very famous and sentimental slogan that has lasted for almost more than 5 decades. In this "Earth or Nature" has been accepted in feminine form as it allows growth and helps life to cultivate in all forms. Mata/Mother/Maa/Mom/Ammyjaan are all same, and there is no religion between the love in between a mother and her children. I personally feel we have mis-understood the slogan and have to understand its deeper meaning in greater depth. It has nothing to do with religion. If people are objecting I feel they are disagreeing to the assumption of accepting Earth/Country/land as "Feminine".. which may be further debated..

Chanting slogan " Bharat Mata ki Jai" has nothing to do with religion. It's true meaning defines the respect and love we have for our mother India and by dragging it into into a controversy truly doesn't make any sense.
Yes it doesn't have anything related to any religion.

Bharat Mata Ki Jai, is a patriotic phrase... a slogan that had been used and is being used by all the communities. those who says it is for Hindus, are making illogical point.

If it is not related to any religion or sense of worshiping in a particular religion, can I say Bharat Ammi zindabad? or India Ammi zindabad? or Hindustan Ammi Zindabad? Does it change the meaning? of-course it shouldn't.

Hi friends....... I think by chanting the slogan "Bharat Mata ki jai" does not show the patriotism. If we really love our motherland than we should help to get it cleaned. You are chanting the slogan "Bharat Mata ki jai" and the same time you just spreading the dirtyness on the earth. Our aim should be to get complimentary towards our motherland by the forgienr. So avoid such stupid things which light up on pump and show
