Does Gurgaon need more affordable golf courses or low-cost infrastructure?
At the conclusion of the inaugural Haryana Open golf tournament, Haryana chief minister Bhupinder Singh Hooda said that the state and cities like Gurgaon and smaller towns need more affordable golf courses to encourage better participation in golf. While one appreciates his suggestion to grow the game, don't Gurgaon and other cities, towns and villages urgently require better and low-cost infrastructure than affordable golf courses, which involve corruption and less than optimum use of land?
