Indian artisans responsible for surrendering Diwali market to China?
Local artisans are losing it out to cheap and fancy Chinese Diwali products and according to a survey by an industry advocacy group, the demand for Chinese products has gone up by 45% this year. Though it is alleged that Chinese fireworks enter India illegally through Nepal, but major part of the blame should rest with the local artisans, who have failed to think out of box and counter the Chinese innovations.

There is no doubt inflation is spoiling diwali.. so people are turning towards cheap Chinese products.

I think there is no limit to the talent in India to create something new but the urge and desire of creating something new, which demands hard work, is lacking...
