Is gross mismanagement by Haryana responsible for frequent and long power cuts in Gurgaon?
The Haryana government failed to cater to the situation of power shortage by arranging for power from other states before summer set in. It has also banned distribution companies to buy power on an as-and-when-basis from other providers. As a result, Haryana, including Gurgaon, is facing peak power shortage of between 350-450 MW. Are sheer negligence and bad planning responsible for Gurgaon's power woes?

Yes, it is absolutely true that poor planning has left people of Haryana without electricity. If the state is not able produce electricity then it should have..

We would have blamed bad planning only if there had been one. This so called Millennium city is a hell-hole, masquerading as Singapore of India. Water, power, coal..
