Should there be caste-based reservation in promotions?
Passing discriminatory laws that violate the spirit of the Constitution, set one section of people against the other, and threaten peaceful co-existence. The Supreme Court in April this year upheld the Allahabad High Court's decision to scrap the policy of reservations in promotions introduced by the Mayawati government.
