Should there be more Lok Adalats in Gurgaon to decrease backlog of registered cases?
Gurgaon has a population of 20 lakhs and every day hundreds of cases are registered in the city, which puts huge pressure on higher courts in Haryana and Punjab. Though there are Lok Adalats, and the administration organizes Mega Lok Adalats from time to time - only 150-220 cases are decided in such adalats - leaving many hundreds undecided. Will more Lok Adalats solve the crisis of long pending cases in Gurgaon? Or should another approach be taken?

More lok adalats will definitely resolve the crises of long pending cases specially in Gurgaon. Panchayats and khaps in Haryana are not able to resolve these cases..

Yes more number of Lok Adalats will decrease the pressure on higher courts for sure but more than that these present Lok adalats and their judges should be given..
