The Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) did not succeed in the Muslim majority constituencies in the recently held Delhi Assembly elections even though the AAP leadership tried hard, even monetarily, in this direction to help the candidates. In order to secure the Muslim votes, the AAP supremo visited the heads of many Islamic organizations/bodies, and also approached to Maulvi Taukir Raza Khan in Bareli.
Socialist Partys national executive meeting was held on 21-22 December 2013 in Delhi. The meeting was presided over by Bhai Vaidya, national president, and attended by delegates from 20 states. During the meeting the recently held elections in 5 states were reviewed in detail.
National chairman of All India Confederation of SC/ST Organisations (AICSO) and president of Justice Party Mr. Udit Raj has invited the Aam Aadmi Partys national convener Arvind Kejriwal to state his stand on policy of reservation in a rally to be held on 16 December 2013 in Delhi.
The campaign strategy of AAP is akin to that of the Congress. Emulating the way in which the entire Congress is acting as an agent to establish Rahul Gandhi's leadership, AAP leaders-workers are functioning as Kejriwal's agents. In a party where individualism dominates so much, coming to power will further cement it. AAP party has suffered a division due to this individualism.
