Vocational training is being introduced in 400 secondary schools of Punjab from class 9th with the assistance of Central government under Rashtriya Madhyamik Siksha Abhijan (RMSA). This project was started as Pilot Project, under National Skill Qualification Programme during 2014-15 in about 100 schools. Because of its better performance, the Vocational Training was extended in another 300 schools.
