The fancy of 'Third Front' is again catching the smaller parties. Where was the 'Front' in 1999 when the BJP rising in power, and heading the NDA, went on to win a massive mandate or for that matter when the Congress-led UPA-2 scored handsomely?

Sixty-five years after Independence, Child labour still remains a blot on the face of our country. Despite the ban on the practice, children are not only forced to work but are also meted out inhuman treatment, and are severely punished for minor offences. Child labour should be discouraged at all costs.
Now JD(U) is to seek vote of confidence on June 19. At present, in the 243-member assembly, the JD-U has 118 MLAs and BJP 91. JD-U just needs four MLAs for a majority. Independents and others account for 6 MLAs. The main opposition Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) has 22 and Congress four.
