Narla Journalism Award Best Journalist Award by Marripudi Trust "Karmayogi" award by Gita vision foundation Krishnam Rjau VVR , a man of character and a multifaceted personality, with truly amazing achievements and range of his knowledge encompass a number of highly specialised disciplines. He was born and bred in Andhra Pradesh, with over three decades experience in the mainstream Telugu and English journalism, author of several books, had a successful career in Industry , marketing , liaisoning and social service sectors. He started journalism career as Sub Editor in Udayam Telugu daily in 1986, and later moved to Andhra Jyothi and Andhra Prabha. He worked as Senior Sub Editor, Chief Sub Editor and News Network In charge in Andhra Prabha. He was also served as Managing Editor in Vijayandhra, the only bi-lingual daily from Vijayawada for three years. He worked as New Editor in C-Channel for some time and also served in ABN Andhra Jyothi, Gemini News. As a journalist he was credited for highlighting several socio, economic and political issues. He published hundreds of articles and special stories on national, international, social, political, financial, agriculture, sports, science and Andhra -Telangana development issues. For three years he edited a weekly bulletin on Sugar industry, ?Sugar News? which was adjudged as ?best and most useful bulletin? by SISMA (South Indian Sugars Mills Association) and a fort-nightly bulletin called ?Hello Doctor?. Since seven years he is publishing and editing monthly news magazine JOURNALIST NEWS AND VIEWS. He is author of many books include Present Tense 1 and 2, History of Olympics , New Methods in sugarcane cultivation, Indian Gazal Singers, Why Telangana thinkers blaming Andhras (all in Telugu) The Lailaist and The Best Hundred personalities (in English) In recognisaiton of his journalistic commitment, he received V.R. Narla Journalism Award at Vijayawada, Marripudi Award for Best Journalist at Chittoor. He stood first in State level essay writing and quiz competitions and also won first prizes in Radio Moscow , Radio dautchewele ( Voice of Germany) essay writing & quiz contests. He also provided leadership skills as Secretary, Andhra Prabha & Indian Express Employees Union, State Vice President, Andhra Pradesh Journalists Union, Founder President, Bezwada and Chittoor Press clubs, State Secretary, Journalists Association of Andhra Pradesh, National Secretary, National Union of Journalists (I). As president of Andhra Pradesh Editors Association (APEA) and convener of Forum For Better Society he conducted many National level seminars, round table meets, medial camps at various parts of the State. During 2004 ? 2007 he hold the position as Senior Management Executive of Nizam Deccan Sugars Limited (one of the India?s largest factory) heading 3 sugar units, 20 MW Co-Gen power plant and Distillery Unit. He is looked after the day to day administration of Bodhan, Medak and Metpally Sugar units (total 8500 TCD), 20 M.W. Power Plant and 35,000 liters per day capacity Distillery Unit. He personally supervised and successfully completed the erection and commissioning works of 20 M.W. Co-gen Power plant at Bodhan .While in the sugar industry he over comes many political and regional hurdles with his communication and lobbying and management skills and make them best units in Telangana Region. He proved his innovative marketing skills in sugar sales and insurance sector also. Before 2004 NDSL was in critical condition in all aspects. Productivity was very low, with only 9.5% sugar recovery per a tonne of sugarcane. But during his tenure in that industry he took the initiative to improve the productivity. In the Subsequent Years it achieved 10.57 % recovery , which is highest in telanagana region. Under his administration NDSL also set a record by crushing above ten lakh tonnes of sugarcane in a season. He was born to Mr. Bapi Raju Vadapalli and Saytyavati at Mutyalampadu, Vijayawada in 1963, completed BA Degree in 1984. He is married Sridevi Kottapalli in 1994, the couple have a daughter ,Soujanya.
