Spring season is upon us and even in the concrete jungle of Gurgaon blooms of different kinds are seen decorating the city. Not only are the roads abundant with wild flowers, but the citizens of Gurgaon also tend to their kitchen garden and grow roses and dalias in pots on their balconies. In order to encourage such citizens, the Municipal Corporation of Gurgaon (MCG)- the civic body, which looks after the city is organising a flower show by the name,' The Spring Fest' on 8 and 9 March 2014 at Bio-Diversity Park.
To mark the occasion of "International Women's Day", which is on 8 March, women driving their own vehicles will be exempted from paying toll on both the toll plazas i.e. Noida and Mayur Vihar of DND Flyway. The Flyway has decided to exempt women users from paying toll for 24 hours on the 8 March.
Ending the speculations, the Election Commission of India has announced the schedule for the forthcoming Lok Sabha elections. The polling will begin on April 7 and will last till May 12. The entire election will be conducted in 9 phases. The counting will be on 16 May. None of the above (NOTA) facilities will be provided to voters along with appropriate instructions in the coming Lok Sabha polls.
