A caption on one of Tihar Jail's walls reads, 'Hate crimes not criminals'. Tihar Jail, while being one of the largest jails in Asia, is also like a small town where on an average, around 11-12 thousand inmates live. Behind the tall and thick walls and strong iron bars, murderers, bandits, terrorists, rapists and traffickers have turned this place into a wonderful success story. The Tihar Jail is a pioneer in launching its unique initiatives towards reforms and rehabilitation of inmates and their victims.
