About Me
MADHU AGRAWAL (Guinness World Record Holder) Born on 24.08.1951 in Delhi (India), Mrs Madhu Agrawal enters Guinness Book of Records for maximum letters (447) published in newspapers in a calendar year (2004). She is also adjudged as world-record holder by Limca Book of Records for maximum published letters by a woman! She is actively engaged in social work by her vigorous writing of letters in newspapers/ magazines on vast range of topics concerning national and public interest. She is often called for discussions on her suggestions by authorities, and her suggestions are considered at highest levels. Her letters are not only published in Indian publications, but also in newspapers of foreign countries including UK and Pakistan. Readers from those countries appreciate her writings like her own countrymen. She has a vast collection of personal letters from authorities including various Prime Ministers, Ministers, Governors, Chief Ministers and top bureaucrats. She is inspired in her writings by veteran activists, known dignitaries, intellectuals and renowned editors of newspapers. She is associated with several social and cultural organizations of Delhi. Interestingly her husband Shri Subhash Chandra Agrawal already holds Guinness World Record for maximum Letters published in newspapers in life-time! Perhaps it may also be a record in itself that both husband and wife may hold Guinness World Records. After graduating from Delhi’s Indraprastha College for Women, Madhu did a course for ‘Office-Supervision’ from Faculty of Management studies (Delhi University). Now she has completed advanced ‘Jyotish Acharya’ course in Astrology from Bhartiya Vidya Bhawan (New Delhi) by securing bronze-model for ranking third in the institute. Apart from social-work, she manages family-business also.
