About Me
I am an ambitious Indian with an M.Phil in Sociology. I am fond of taking keen interest in a wide range of socio-economic issues of the world, India in particular, namely poverty, gender discrimination, child abuse and unemployment. At present I am employed with a leading Australian MNC as an editor/writer. For my present company I wrote two reports based on socio-economic issues of Australia independently and also assisted them in preparing host of other reports. I am an Indian first and feel proud of our rich culture and heritage but I hate certain old age conventions and radical rituals too, which are blots on our beautiful and diverse society, for instance gender discrimination, casteism and religious chauvinism. Personalities like Bhagat Singh, Vivekananda, Chandrashekhar Azad, Lady Dianna, Sachin Tendulkar, Amitabh Bacchan and Mother Teressa have inspired my thoughts and personality. During my school days I took active part in sports and cultural activities, played hockey upto State level and also learnt martial art Taekwando for self defence and discipline. I believe in philanthropy in letter and spirit, donated blood five times and ran Delhi Half Marathon thrice (21km). My long list of hobbies include mountaineering, writing, music, sports and philanthropy. To inspire and guide young minds-I am also running a club at my native place-Agra, wherein we discuss diverse issues related to youths, country and world. On days of national importance we also organize sports and cultural activities. As a volunteer I am associated with some NGOs, For me India is my first and last love, Jai Hind.....
