It is becoming a practice in TV serials to portray scenes where law enforcing agencies are totally absent. This is creating a serious negative impact in the minds of adolescent illiterate audiences and the youngsters. The time has come to put an end to these types of damaging serials by introducing strong censorship.
Eunuch, once given respect by the society, has become arrogant extortionist and taking recourse to goondaism. Time has come to enforce strict law prohibiting them from doing such activities. Since ages they were looked after by the society as avatar. Later government has brought special quota for them, they have been given monetary benefits and house pattas.
North Bengal has a great potential to provide a source of income to its local tribal population, which is being currently eaten up by outsiders by depriving the locals. Time has come to encourage them on micro level instead of inviting corporates.
In August a parcel containing costly shoes were sent to my son from Kolkata. India Post's website displayed all the details till it reached airport. After that they were not bothered. Visits to the post office were fruitless as they do not have United Parcel Service (UPS) consignment number. Strange!!
