About the Author. Satyabrata Biswas owns a chemical manufacturing industry in Mumbai. He is also a social activist who has won national awards in journalism and best story writer’s trophy besides many other awards and certificates of appreciation. Though a businessman by profession, his passion is reading and writing. He has now decided to take up writing as his full time occupation. In his earlier novel “He is 52 She is 25 - Love Story of a Surgeon,” he had highlighted burning issues of our society like religious intolerance and riots, ‘Marathi Manoos’ and outsiders, dirty politics, division of states, Mumbai local train problems etc. He has three postgraduate degree and diploma in “Business Management” from Mumbai University and London, he has had an illustrious career in senior management positions with Multi-National Companies in India and abroad. He is settled in Mumbai with his wife, a science college lecturer and three daughters – one a doctor, the second an engineer and the third a science student who wants to pursue Ph.D. He is attached to many NGOs and organisations like Lions Club, Rotary Club, Tata Cancer Institute, National Gallery of Modern Arts etc. and is a member of the Journalists’ Association, Film Writers’ Association and Film Producers’ Association. As an active Lion and Rotarian, he has held portfolios such as Vice President, Director, Joint Secretary and Committee Chairman. He was recently elected as “President” of Rotary Club, Mira Road, Mumbai, for the year 2011- 2012. He loves helping and serving the needy and the underprivileged. Writing has always been his passion. From the age of 15, he has been writing poems, short stories and articles in various magazines and leading national newspapers like The Indian Express and The Times of India, Mumbai. He is also a crusader against corruption.
