Betting in Sports should be made legal in India.

In a paper submitted to the Sports Ministry, Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry (Ficci) has called for legalising and regulating sports betting in India. According to FICCI, Rs. 300,000 crore in black money was being used for betting in the country every year. If this is made legal, then the government would earn a revenue of Rs. 12,000 to 19,000 crore per annum.

India should intervene for the stability of its neighbouring nations for its own peace

While in an idealistic scenario, every country should be self sufficient in managing its internal affairs but smaller nations in South Asia are constantly failing in the job. While rapid talibanization is happening in Pakistan, Afganisthan and Bangladesh, Sri Lanka is finding it hard to maintain a proper environment of growth and harmony.
