Hindustan Janata Party (All India) has decided to contest on 70 Assembly seats in the upcoming Jammu and Kashmir assembly elections. The party appealed to youths, particularly those who could lend their hand to it in forming a corruption-free new government in the State.
The state president of Shri Ram Sena, Rajiv Mahajan has asked the state as well as central government to decrease the fares of transport across Jammu and Kashmir after an unprecedented fall in the price of diesel by more than Rs. 6 per litre till date by Modi-led Central Government.
Comments made by the Pakistan People's Party (PPP) leader Bilawal Bhutto on Kashmir was not acceptable by any Indian, said State President, Shri Ram Sena, Rajiv Mahajan. "Kashmir is very much a part of India and will remain so. Any discussion on it is not acceptable to us. Kashmir resides in the hearts of Indians," said Rajiv in his statement issued yesterday.
Shri Ram Sena Jammu and Kashmir while expressing its happiness over the overwhelming victory of Bhartiya Janta Party in Haryana and Maharashtra assembly elections, congratulated Prime Minister Narendra Modi and his team for ousting the previous inefficient and corrupt governments from those states.
