Bhartiya Kala Samgam organizes Music Concert

Bhartiya Kala Sangam organised an enchanting music concert at KL Saigal Hall here today in which renowned singers of the State gave their performance and kept the audience spellbound during the programme.

In the function, State President, Shri Ram Sena, Rajiv Mahajan was Chief Guest. Patron-in-Chief, Sohil Kazmi, (Retd.) KAS Chairman of BKS, T.R Sharma were also present. The programme was conceived by Ramesh Singh, Director Bhartiya Kala Sangam.

Rajiv Mahajan appreciated the efforts being made by Bhartiya Kala Sangam to keep alive the cultural traditions of Jammu region. He was of the view that all the non-government organisations engaged in preservation and promotion of art and cultural of Dogra heritage should make constant effort to encourage and promote J and K State traditions of Dogri culture, so that the coming generation gets acquainted and attached with their basic culture.

He assured that in future whatever helps required shall be provided to the Bhartiya Kala Sangam.

Earlier, welcoming the Chief Guest and audience, Sohail Kazmi highlighted a various cultural activities done by Bhartiya Kala Sangam and that the forum of Bhartiya Kala Sangam is open for the artists including new talent for giving their performance.

The artists of who performed on the occasion were Tilak Raj Tagotra, Deepali Watal, Supriya Sharma, Nidhi Kaila, Meerana Jamwal, Surinder Manhas, Chandan, Darbari Lal, Archana Sharma and Rakesh Khanna.

The programme was conducted by Rajni Sharma renowned Radio and TV Anchor and vote of thanks was presented by T.R Sharma.
