BIGG BOSS 4 season which launched on October 3rd, 2010 with massive fanfare and managed to get the highest TRPs on the day is now turning towards argument from day one. This time two out of fourteen contestants were full of surprised including one dacoit Seema Parihar who is facing several murder cases and Singh alias Bunty Chor, a thief from Delhi on whose life the Hindi movie 'Oye Lucky, Lucky Oye' was reportedly based. Another two contestants Veena Malik, Pakistani model and ex-girlfriend of cricketer Mohammed Asif and Begum Nawazish Ali, a cross dresser who hosts a famous chat show on a Pakistani channel, both are from Pakistan. Infamous thief Bunty was thrown out on the first day of the show for flouting rules.
Shiv Sena and the Maharashtra Navnirman Sena (MNS) are not new their hatred against Pakistan. Sena spokesperson Sanjay Raut said the party would not allow the show to run with the Pakistani participants. If Pakistanis are participating in the show, and then allow Ajmal Kasab and Afzal Guru also (as contestants), Shiv Sena will not permit to run the show." he said.
Few days ago the group of Shiv Sainiks descended on the Bigg Boss bungalow in Lonawala and beat up security guards stationed there. The party chief has made his intention clear that Shiv Sena will disrupt the show at any cost. The Sena workers continued its protest on the fourth day and activists crossed the barricades’ outside the bungalow.
The district administration is preparing to ban the shooting of Bigg Boss in Lonawala, under pressure from the Shiv sena’s protests and checking legal aspects on how the shooting can be stopped.
Do you think Shiv Sena is right to oppose Pakistan artists in Indian reality show?
Have we ever seen our Indian artists participating in their TV shows? When there is good number of stars performers was ready to participate in the show, why organizers had given chance to Pakistani artists?
Is it going to increase the TRPs of channel or Indian star performers are terrible or expensive for the show? Indian people still have not forgotten Mumbai attack and episode of 26/11 in 2008. It may not involve all Pakistani people but people who did this misdeed belong to Pakistan and trained in their country. In almost every Islamic terrorist plot in India, whether it is successful or not, there is a Pakistani angle.
Some good set people may utter that this does not matter or just wastage of time to discuss or not big deal. People might think Shiv Sena is playing for the vote bank and mixing politics with entertainment is not right idea but reality is that Pakistan Government hardly allowed Indian artist to take part in their shows and perform in their country. Whatever is truth hate relation will continuous with Pakistan and their people until they stop sending terrorist to our motherland.
In my view, we should not mix politics with entertainment but same time; we should not give importance to Pakistani artists to hurt the sentiments of countrymen for just sake of TRPs. It is best in Bigg Boss 4 season that keeping sentiments of people in the mind, Big Boss should evicted the two Pakistani contestants from the house in next elimination round before the issue spark in the world.
