'Bigg Toss': Reality show on ICC World Cup

Based on the lines of popular television show Bigg Boss, a news channel has come up with the idea of maintaining the same format but with emphasis on Indian cricket.
One of Indian TV channels- India TV has come up with unique concept of casing ICC World Cup 2011. ‘Bigg Toss’ is first ever reality show on sports at any Indian TV channel. With opening ceremony scheduled for today, cricket fever is gripping not only in Indian subcontinent also across the world.
The notion of the reality show is bit similar to “Bigg Boss” which was brought by Colors channel and recently ended in month of January. It will be aired on India TV from February 17 till the end of World Cup tournament. The housemates will be cut off from the rest of world during the ICC World Cup and will spend their days in locked house under supervision of CCTV cameras fitted around the house.
The total numbers of contestants are fifteen including of politicians, singers, actors, students etc and they all will be housed in an exclusive villa in Noida, Uttar Pradesh. They will watch the matches involving India and discuss the pros and cons of players in their unique style.
The contestants of show include Bollywood Item girl, Rakhi Sawant, Pakistani actress Veena Malik, Yuvraj Singh's father Yograj Singh Bundhel, Radio Jockey Simran, Punjabi pop singer Ashok Masti, model and TV anchor Divya Jaitley, former Delhi University Students Union leader Amrita Dhawan, singer and guitarist Shanker Sawhney, Zoobi Doobi singer Zahid Nigam, Delhi BJP leader Vijay Jolly, Delhi Congress leader Mukesh Sharma, Haryana wrestler Sangram Singh, hair stylist Sylvie, MTV contestant Sakshi Bhayana and Shiva devotee Aravind Swamy.
In the pre-match first episode which will telecast today and celebrities will be stay inside the villa and will be divided into two groups.
They will choose their favourite player from Indian team. Like reality show “Bigg Boss” , here also they will given various ‘Bigg Toss Tasks’ and which group will win get first chance for choosing their choice of players. At the end of episodes, both groups will have to wait for the next day to see their performance of players chosen by them. In post match episodes all housemates and their group will be awarded points on the basis of performance of players of their choice. Whoever gets highest points would be adjudged winner.
In Big Toss Tasks is one of most interested to watch in the show, these all consists of small games mostly related to cricket will be given to housemates to make whole programme more interesting. Other interesting things to watch is Master Stroke, which will introduce in the post match episodes to give more twists and turns to the housemates.
It may throw whole show in reverse and any one can be unexpected winner. Telecast Dates of India matches are 17th Feb / 19th Feb / 27th Feb / 6th Mar / 9th Mar / 12th Mar / 20th Mar / Quarter Finals / Semi Finals / Final. The show will be aired day before and after the match days involving India. Time slot of show is 8:00 PM to 9:00 PM.
