Chennai April 3rd 2012: Chennai Super Kings, is all geared up for the new season of action packed IPL and is set to make this one better and bigger.
THE ONLY team to have won the IPL for two consecutive years is all set for the upcoming season with Captain Dhoni and his young and new brigade along with Coach Stephen Fleming.
The team today announced the launch of its vibrant and exciting range of merchandise which has been designed to incorporate the team spirit and vigor for the upcoming season. The new range includes T-shirts, caps & accessories, key chains and a variety of home, office products ranging from Rs. 200- Rs. 2500. The team has also launched exclusive silk ties starting Rs. 2500/-.
Speaking on the occasion, Mr. T. S. Raghupathy, Executive President, India Cements Ltd. said, “Today, we have launched an exciting new range of merchandise for our fans and supporters. The collection will be available both nationally and internationally. We have around 380 outlets in Tamilnadu for the distribution of the same. Mr. Raghupathy further added.

Over 65,000 Chennai Super Kings fans tuned into the Facebook page to watch captain MS Dhoni respond to their questions during the live webcast of a press conference. This comes after the fan page was recognized as one of the top growing pages on Facebook in India recently.
The tournament will kick off on April 4th 2012 at the M.A Chidambaram Stadium in Chennai with a game between hosts Chennai Super Kings and Mumbai Indians. The inaugural ceremony is being hosted on April 3rd, 2012 at YMCA Grounds with a fair sprinkling of Bollywood pitching in.
