Lokpal bill that has raised hope for India free from corruption is once again witnessing rejection from a minister who is part of the drafting committee along with Mr.Hazare .Kapil sibbal, who is telecom minister and a member of drafting committee of lokpal bill does not expect the bill would be effective.
On this remark Hazare who was on fast for the bill for a week said that, Sibbal should resign from the committee if he do not think the bill will work. He also warned that if government would not take the bill seriously, than he will start the movement again.
With sibbal, there are other cabinet colleagues like salman Khurshid who also thinks bill would be ineffective. Viewpoints of both the cabinet ministers are a matter of worry before the first meeting that is on April 16 because both are the members of joint committee that will look after the implementation of lokpal bill with Anna Hazare.
Though in further questioning Mr.Sibbal has clarified that he don’t doubt the potential of lokpal bill but thinks that it would not help in addressing other problems except corruption of society.
