Himachal Chief Minister Virbhadra Singh has dedicated eight branches of Kangra Central Co-operative Bank Pvt. Limited (KCCB) online on Friday here today at Dharamshala in the premises of the main office of the bank. These branches included Palampur Main, Panchrukhi, Padhiarkhar, Mahakal and Bhawarana in Kangra district and Thanakalan, Mubarikpur and Harsi in Una district.
Addressing a gathering on the occasion, he expressed contentment over the progress made by the bank. He said that today 210 branches of this bank were operating in five zones in the state. The bank had a business of over 13490.69 crores. Kangra district had 106 branches whereas Una 30, Kullu 26, Hamirpur 42 and Lahaul-Spiti had 6 (Six).
Earlier, chairman KCCB Jagdeesh Sipaya welcomed the chief minister.
Forest Minister Thakur Singh Bharmauri, Urban Development Minister Sudhir Sharma, DC CP Verma and high officers of the bank were present in the function.
