A RESEARCH CONDUCTED IN iNDORE ON DANERS AND NON DANCES SHOWED THAT DANCERS ARE LOW ANXIETY PEOPLE AND THAT THEY ARE SLUGGISH AND UNDER MOTIVATED!!!!!

In a recent study conducted in Indore, it was found that the dancers (here talking about the professionals) have a low level of anxiety. This was found in comparisons to the non dancers or the people who don't dance for some or the other reasons. The test conducted on around 100 persons of both the groups. The test used was of valid psychological standing the average anxiety level of dancers was found to be 15.33, whereas the non dancer or the commoners was found to be 27.93.
The result as such contrasts the saying that the dancers are more composed and stable. According to the findings the scoring of the dancers shows that they have very low level of anxiety. And the commoners have average level of anxiety. By this study it was concluded that the dancers being sluggish, under motivated and possessing low drive level. The study was done with the dancers who are in the field for at least three years.
So the study was again conducted over the same groups but the dancers taken here were beginners. And here it was found that the level of anxiety in the Persons newly associated with the dance field.
This time the result were quite opposite, it was found that the new group of dancers were people with high anxiety level. So it was concluded that as such the level of anxiety in human keeps fluctuating the experienced dancer with time feel less motivated towards their profession or perhaps feel that their life is monotonous and this monotony is absent in the case of new dancers and are quite enthusiastic and anxious about their future and thus they work hard for the better result. The study was conducted by the students department of Psychology Government arts and Commerce College, Devi Ahilya University, Indore.
