An earthquake of magnitude 5.8 on Monday, hit Kashmir valley, prompting people to rush out of buildings fearing repeat of the 2005 tremor which devastated several border areas of the valley.

The tremor with its epicentre in the Hindu Kush mountain range in Afghanistan occurred around 3.20 PM and lasted for three seconds. The jolt was felt in almost all parts of the valley including Srinagar. And also many parts in North India felt these kind of jolts.

There was no report of any damage due to the tremor.

Now you can say it an alarm bell for the India.

Yet Japan is in a worst situation and now earthquake hits the India is a very bad indication for the world and India.

We should have to already do the preparation to deal with the earthquake because this 5.8 can suddenly convert into a 8.5.
