Emaar MGF celebrates Joy of Giving: Holds Annual Blood Donation Camp with Indian Red Cross
Damini Dawar | 09 Oct 2014

Emaar MGF Land Ltd., one of India's leading real estate developers, in continuance of its efforts towards the well being and survival of others in society, today organized its periodic blood donation camp at their Corporate office in Gurgaon. This extremely successful event was held with the support of Indian Red Cross Society (IRCS), a leading ISO 9001:2008 certified blood bank in India.

The initiative was held as part of Daan Utsav - Joy of Giving Week, aimed at celebrating the spirit of spreading love and happiness among those lesser fortunate than us. Blood donation, being one of the most noble causes, is a regular event in the Emaar MGF activity calendar and was marketed internally across various pieces of communication to invite maximum number of employees. The program continued for the whole day.

Arman Chaudhary, Head- Human Resources, Emaar MGF, said at the event, "Everyone should donate blood as it is an invaluable gift of life to the person receiving it. Seeing the rising need for social healthcare activities, it is extremely heartwarming to see such a large turnout from across the organization. This further reaffirms our philosophy of thinking beyond our business and contributing to the society around us. We express gratitude to the Indian Red Cross Society and the blood donors in making this camp a great success."

The sheer turnout of senior management demonstrated how seriously such activities were taken across the group. The employees volunteered and worked in conjunction with the medical teams of IRCS to make the blood donation camp a major success. It is yet another call to return something back to the community.

Chaudhary, further added, "We remain committed to our Corporate Social Responsibility by taking part in activities which sustain and add value to humanity at large. We will continue to support such noble causes in the near future."
