England Stops India from regaining the Title

When Indian captain M.S.Dhoni said in an Interview before the match against England that Indians will shine under pressure,he was hoping that the 'Men in Blue' who were in a similar situation the last T20 World Cup World Cup will show the same magic and sparkle in their performance as was done in last edition. But,a few bad decisions by Dhoni and a lacklusture performance with both Bat and the Ball(They gave 16 Extras compared to Englnad's 8!!!!!) by Indians led to their Downfall against England. This makes it a little easier for the English Team to make it to the last four.
The match was a Do or Die match for both teams and the match gave some tentalizing moments.Dhoni won thss and elected to ball.India started superbly with the Ball with Zaheer Khan giving just 3 runs in his first over.R.P.Singh playing in his frst match in the world cup bowled some good deliveries and created some pressure on the English Batsman.Luke Wright  felt this pressure and gifted his wicket ,when he tried to hook a short delievery from R.P.Singh and top edged to give a simple catch to Yusuf pathan.
After the fall of the first wicket, Kevin Pitersen and Ravi Bopara led the England fightback ammasing 71 runs for the second wicket.Bopara hit Run a ball 37 while Kevin Pitersen hit 47 off 26 balls which included 5 boundaries and a six.
The introduction of Yuvraj Singh into Bowling was a complete failure as the left hander gave 20 runs in two overs which helped ease pressure on England.Even Ishant Sharma was quite expensive giving 36 of his 4 overs. On the other hand the part time bowler R.Jadeja and wily spinner Harbhajan Singh put some breaks on the English scoring by taking two and three wickets respectively.England finished with 153 for 7 which included 16 extras from the Indian.
India strated slowly loosing opener Rohit Sharma(9) in the second over at a score of 12.Sidebottom bowled well and got  Suresh Raina caught in his very next over.Again the Famed and mighty batting order of Team India seemed to be falling.
The turning point in the match was the decision of Dhoni to send Jadeja who was playing his first match, up the order.Jadeja was no able to handle the short stuff handed to him by the Englsih Bowlers. He took 35 balls to make 25 which increased the required rate for India.Wickets fell Quickly and half the Indian Team was back in the pavallion by the 14th over scoring just 87 runs. India had to make 66 runs of the last 6 overs which would have been tough to get considering that Englsih Bowlers were bowling well and Dhoni was not in good form.Yusuf Pathan and Dhoni tried to take India through but fell short by 3 runs.Indian ended with 150 for 5 in 20 overs.Yusuf Pathan hit a quickfire 33 of 17 balls.
The road ahead seems tough for Dhoni with many blaming his high-handedness and wrong tactics for loss against West Indies and Engalnd and consequent dumping from the World Cup.
Hope they improve their performance and get ready to face the short stuff again in the 4 match one day series in West Indies.
