Experiences shaped who we are
CJ | 19 Aug 2010

Experiences make a man more mature towards facing the realities of life in peculiar ways. Experience is nothing but the only piece of our past happenings or series of happenings through which we form a new vision.

"NEVER LET go of hope. One day you will see that it all has finally come together. What you have always wished for has finally come to be. You will look back and laugh at what has passed and you will ask yourself... 'How did I get through all of that?”
A DELIGHTFUL line by an Irish writer, James Joyce.

Life is about something that which we can’t predict at what time it turns or mould its way. We all are familiar with the words even use to of hearing that we learn from our experiences.

Experiences make a man more mature towards facing the realities of life in peculiar ways. Experience is nothing but the only piece of our past happenings or series of past through which we come across at the new vision. Another beautiful saying: “The difference between school and life? In school, you are taught a lesson and then give a test. In life, you are given a test that teaches you a lesson”.

Meaning is simple here; life experiences give many lessons to learn through which a person becomes self- pedagogue. And enthusiastically prepares to face the future aspects.
To what extent do one's past experiences influence one's current and future experience?

The idea that past experiences influence future is termed continuity. All experiences impact on one's future, for better or worse. Basically, cumulative experience either shuts one down or opens up one's access to possible future experiences. Moreover, to some extent it is the matter of human being itself to make their life experiences good which make them full of delight and vivaciousness and give a new energy to go ahead with a happy life experiences.

A good conversation, laughing at yourself, your favourite ice-cream, laying with a new puppy, watching the sunrise and sunset, knowing that you have done the right thing no matter what others think, the sound of children laughing, road trips with friends, sweet dreams that you remember, chirping of birds in the wee hours, no lines at the supermarket, hearing of your favourite song on the radio, giggling, a good conversation with friends; all these things consist strong positivity to refill the individual’s life full of vivaciousness and that is what we call the experiences in life which will make you smile and according to Abigail Van Buren, will also make us millionaires.

“If we could sell our experiences for what they cost us, we would all be millionaires,” well said by Abigail Van Buren.
