Jammu, May 8: Shri Raghunath Ji Mandir Sewa Samitti submitted memorandum to Narendra Modi Prime Minister demanding surgical strike on multi crore scandle in hindu temples land,building,yatree niwas,shops and golden /silver ornament 7 jewellery worth crore of rupees by the person having control on management & formation of public board for all temples and shrines on the pattern of Shri Gurudwara Parbandh Board for betterment and safeguarding the interest of thousand of Hindu community in the State.
Samitti which is earlier known as Dharmath Trust Sudhar Sangarsh Samiti also decided to submit memorandum to ho'nable Chief Minister Mehbooba Mufti, Deputy Chief Minister Dr. Nirmal Singh and all BJP MLAs very shortly with the request that Temple and Shrine Bill be passed in the ensuing State Assembly with representation of its member from Snatani Hindu.
The Samiti President Rajiv Mahajan, Th.Karnail chand General secretary, Senior Vice President Ved Gandotra, Vice President, Vikas Diwan vice president, Pritam Sharma Organising Secretary Sunita Sharma, secretary, Sh. Parbhat Kapahi office secretary and Sh. Parshotam Sharma Secretary welcomed the statement of Chief Minister Mehbooba Mufti for developing historic Shri Raghunath Ji Temple on the pattern of Golden Temple Amritsar.
the Samitti members said that it is only then possible when a public board for all the temples is constituted and demanded that Mehbooba Mufti should pass Hindu Temples and Shrine Property Act in the State, so that temples property can be protected.
They said multi-crore scandal surfaced in temples land and property as person having control these on temple management has sold the temples land, Yatri Niwas and even lifted golden ornaments and jewellery worth crore of rupee from Shri Raghunath Ji Temple in the year 1991 and a historic Talab at Shri Raghunath Ji Temple has been closed. And samiti demandied opening of hitaric talab cleaning & beautification of said talab and keeping back the Shri Raghunath ji treasury comprises golden ornament, worth crore of rupee at shri RNJi Temple at its original place which was lifted from Raghunath ji temple by one of trustee in the year 1991
The Samitti members strongly criticized the previous government for ignoring developing of Hindu religious place like Uttarbahni, Purmandal, Bahu Fort, Raghunath Ji Temple, Sarthal Devi Shrine Kishtwar, Shankarcharya and Kher Bhawani Temple of Srinagar.
They alleged that in the year 1986 the main income sources of Shri Mata Vaishno Devi taken over by then Governer Jagmohan and separate board has been constituted then another board for Baba Amrnath Ji has constituted and due to this action of the govt. the development of other small temple belong under the control of Dharmath Trust effected as 50% income of the Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Shrine has been utilized for the development of these temples.
The samitti demanded re-organisation of Mata Vaishno Devi Shrine Board Act and constitution one public board on the pattern of Gurudwara Parbandhak Board for all Hindu temples and shrines for proper development of Hindu religious places.and stoping shine board not to pay shrine board fund to state Govt.on loan basis
The Samiti member threaten agitation against if Govt. fails to introduce temple & shrine bill in tn coming assembly session.
