Hooliganism instead service in Punjab by Badals : Bajwa
Congress will field only honest candidates to contest electons:Shakeel Ahmed
Ferozepur 7, October: The Punjab Chief Minister Parkash Singh Badal and Deputy Chief Minister Sukhbir Singh Badal have created hooliganism in the state instead of providing service to the people and they have cross all limits. These views were expressed by Partap Singh Bajwa, Congress President, Punjab on his stop-over on way to Jalalabad alongwith Shakeel Ahmed, General Secretary AICC.
Bajwa said, “Because of wrong policies of the Akali-BJP government, the Punjab has ruined economically and law and order situation is totally disturbed. The Punjab Government with the help of police is registering false cases on the Congress leaders but have no time to reach to the people.
Lashing out of Sukhbir and Majithia, Bajwa said, “In Punjab, now a day, the mafia group is active and unnecessarily harassing Congress leaders”.
In reply to the question, he said, The Public Relation Department of Punjab is falsely claiming the coming of Tata Groups in Punjab whereas the factual position is that none of the project has been approved by the Tata Group for Punjab.
He further said, “The Punjab Government is talking about making Karina Kapoor as party ambassador. My sincere advice to the people not to believe in the ‘lollipups’ of Badals but get inspiration from Milkha Singh”.
Punjab is under debt of crores of rupees and looting the people by imposing various taxes and Rs.2800 crore is payable to Punjab Govt. employees.
Shakeel Ahmed, General Secretary AICC on his special visit to Ferozepur, who is incharge of party affairs in Punjab, rules out any pre-poll pact with any political party. He informed that a committee constituted for the purpose will shortly submits its report on which the party High Command will take a final decision. Giving a warning to the Punjab Government, he said, “In case the dictatorial attitude by Akali-BJP government is not amended against the Congress and false cases are not withdrawn, the matter would be taken up with the Union Home Ministry before intensifying the agitation. He, however, asked Bajwa to prepare a list of vendetta cases in Punjab.
