If BCCI officials are public servants, why isn't the entity?

Central Information Commission should review all its verdicts involving BCCI as respondent in view of recent Supreme Court verdict, because earlier all such petitions were rejected holding BCCI not to be a public-authority.

IT REFERS to welcoming Supreme Court's decision by Justices VS Sirpurkar and TS Thakur holding officials of Board for Control of Cricket in India (BCCI) to be public-servants. Verdict is enough to take BCCI as public authority under ‘Right-To-Information Act 2005’.

BCCI authorities take this body as their private enterprise distributing its funds, generated out of money of Indian public crazy for cricket, like freebies not only on individual performances of cricketers but even on other projects like funding Parliamentarian’s Constitution Club for luxury of swimming pool.
