JKPF to organise world peace conference in Kashmir

A three days world peace conference from May 2 to 4, 2011, will be held by the Jammu and Kashmir Peace Foundation at Sheri-e-Kashmir International Conference Centre (SKICC) Chasmashahi, Srinagar (J&K).

IN AN optimistic development, the Jammu and Kashmir Peace Foundation (a movement for world peace, prosperity, brotherhood and international understanding) is organising a three days world peace conference from May 2 to 4, 2011 at Sheri-e-Kashmir International Conference Centre (SKICC) Chasmashahi, Srinagar (J&K).

An international convention is being held for the first time in the state by the approval of state and Centre government. The conference is being attended by several prominent international religious leaders, peace ambassadors, social and peace loving leaders and representatives of various human right and social organisations from all over the world.

The meet shall solely deliberate on peace, friendship, tranquility, mutual understanding and communal harmony in the world. The meet shall also endeavour to evolve consensus on lasting peace in the world to make it a violence free zone.
