Kala Peeth (Regd.) releases poetry book titled "Udhardi Hoi Mein"

Kala Peeth (Regd.) Ferozepur - in small town on Indo-Pak Hussainiwla border – literary institution, committed for making efforts for spreading 'word culture', on Tuesday, released a poetry book titled "Udhardi Hoi Mein" by renowned Punjabi poet Harmit Vidayarthi, at a simple but impressive ceremony at local Govt. Model School.

After formal release of the book by Prof.Jaspal Ghai, President Kala Peeth (Regd.), along with Prof. Gurtej Koharwala and M.K.Rahi, a debate on the compositions by the writer was also held.

Dr.Amandeep Singh, speaking on this occasion, read out his written paper on the book and said, the book has influenced the writer with the globalization and such type of a person is the agony of disassociating himself from the culture heritage under its impact. 

The writer has presented the truth of the globalization through his pen, in poetry form in a very artistic manner, he added.

Referring to Harmit Vidyarathi, Prof.Gurtej Koharwala said, he wants to accept the worldly good fortunes but at the same time, wants to keep himself away from its affects.

Prof.Kuldip Singh highlighted the uniqueness of the theme of the write-ups by the writer.

Conveying his thanks to Kala Peeth, Harmit Vidyarathi, read out his few complositions – Ghar, Ghar Gum nahi hunde, Ruk Jra and Aj Kal.

Accepting his 24 years association, Prof. Jaspal Ghai emphasized on the different aspects of the life of Harmeet Vidyarathi and remarked him as "sensitive, sentimental and sharp looking poet".

Among those present on this occasion were Gurdial Singh Virk, Harish Monga, Gaurav Bhaskar, Manjit Kaur Azad, Gurnam Sidhu, Dr.Sanjeev, Rajiv Ghubal, Harjit Singh, Sukhjinder, Gurdeep Singh, Sandeep Choudhary, Surinder Kambojh, Surinder Dhillon, Prabhjot Bhupal besides writers and literary lovers.
