Kasab - the terrorist who is a state guest
Aalam | 26 Feb 2011

Kasab the gunmen who came into the city and created havoc should have been shot the moment he was arrested but the government paid crores of rupees for his survival and trials.

“APKO DI hui saza-e-maut barkarar rakkhi jaati hai”. These words of Justice Ranjit More may be a verdict of contentment and satisfaction for the victims and their families but as the verdict says; the death of Ajmal Amir Kasab is upheld.

The gunmen who came into the city and created havoc should have been shot gunned at the moment of his arrest but the government paid crores of rupees for his survival and trials. The money that the government has spent on such a person who terrorized the city of Mumbai and killed brave hearts such as Tukaram ombale, ATS Chief Hemant karkare and souls of many other officials.

Though the verdict has been announced and his defence plea has been rejected on the grounds of being young and emotionally disturbed, but Kasab can STILL file a mercy plea before the president and, then his case won’t come up until 2018. Though the legal proceedings say that he has a right for mercy plea but morally his appeal should not be accepted and he should be hanged to death for killing innocent people. If he appeals for the plea it will more take another 4-5 years for his case to be resumed.

“Aren’t the law proceedings delaying justice for the victims?”

The families of the victims and victims itself are waiting for the Kasab to be hanged to death. When the whole world saw what he did to Mumbai and its people, is there more evidence required for him to be put to death? The wrath of the 26/11 night has been stagnant on the minds of people. The killing of innocent lives is the cruelest act that any person can commit. And so he should be hanged to death and along with him all others who tried to be a part of this cruel behavior.

Well now talking of the verdict, the people are happy from the verdict of the High Court and feel, the content regardless of the various back draws it has. Several are hoping for Justice to be declared.
