Shocking disclosures about Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose that he was not killed in air-crash of 1945 and his family was snooped upon by the then government, require that Central government declassify all the files held on the aspect by it without any further delay. It will also be a step towards fulfilling its pre-poll promise.
It is absolutely illogical not to disclosethe files fearing that it will adversely impact foreign relations with a total change of era when even people of those countries feeling ashamed of having such dictators having ruled their countries.
Central government has already taken welcome initiatives for giving pre-independence heroes of freedom-struggle including also Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose, which were regrettably not given due importance in last seven decades after independence by projecting only a single personality as the only hero of India's independence.
Central government should investigate and expose about allegations of pre-independence Indian politicians not providing assistance to great martyrs like Shaheed Bhagat Singh, Chadrashekhar Azad, Rajguru etc on their being tried for hanging by the British government.
After all exposures including declassification of files relating to Netaji, the Central government should also gear up to celebrate coming birthday of Netaji on 23rd January in a big way like also printing photos of India's various martyrs of pre-independence on currency notes of different denominations.
