Massive blood donation programme at Kokrajhar

The All Bodo Students Union (ABSU) along with NDFB (P) and PJACBM are organizing voluntary blood donation at different places from Kokrajhar to Sonitpur.

The initiative is being guided by Voluntary Blood Donors Association, Jharkhand and The ANT with the help of local blood banks of Kokrajhar, Bongaigaon, Nalbari, Mongoldoi, Dhubri and Tezpur. The Vision of ABSU is to start a new beginning of human relationship and humanity by giving drops of pure blood to someone who are struggling for to life with the help of few drops of Blood.

In a press statement Pramod Boro, President of ABSU has mentioned that the new generation of the society is trying their best to correct the way of movement and sustain it until they achieve the goal. Blood donation is one of the noble initiatives to correct our self and re-bridge the human relationship for peaceful co-existence in future. He also said that "ABSU along with other movement groups shall try reduce the number of death for shortage of blood in state, nation and even out of the nation." "We will try to provide blood for children, pregnant women and cancer patients in priority, the target of the organisations is to provide 10000 units of blood within one year, said Mr Boro.

The series of voluntary blood donation will continue at Kajolgaon on 24, Mushalpur ojn 25, Udalguri on 26 and Dhekiajuli 27 April. Organizers have thanked VBDA, Jharkhand, The ANT, local blood banks and blood donors for this saving life venture towards humanity.
