Everyone is excited about Salman Khan's upcoming movie Bajrangi Bhaijaan. The movie is going to release on coming friday all over India including Pakistan. The movie own Indo-Pak theme which expected to work well on box office. However, Pakistan is in news not because of Bajrangi Bhaijaan release but for Lollywood's actress Mahira Khan's movie 'Bin Roye'. Recently, the release of movie fell in a controversial row when Maharashtra Navnirman Sena film wing opposed the screening of movie in Maharashtra.

Since it is Pakistani movie and Pakistan always attacked India, the group come up and stood against the release. Possibly, Pakistan expected that the way they welcomed Salman's movie in their country India will do the same. But unfortunately MNS objections and threatening demonstration made Board to refrain its' release in Maharashtra. Pakistan's easy-go attitude on 26/11 mastermind Lakhvi somewhere encouraged terrorist attack in Jammu and Kashmir and this is why party feel no hesitation in keeping even entertainment under cross-border politics.

Earlier, Pakistani director Shoaib Mansoor's movie Khuda Ke Liye released in India. After this, India welcomed Pakistan serials on small screen ( Zindagi channel) which liked by everyone. Perhaps, when it comes to movies and serials people think about entertainment only rather digging politics out of it. Merinews reached to few actors and journalist who feels that bringing border-issues in this case is totally baseless.

Raza Murad, Actor

When Pakistani movie Khuda Ke Liye released in India, nobody had objected it. Recently, PM Narendra Modi met Nawaz Sharif. And Modi will also pay visit in Pakistan next year, so we should take things positively. If our neighbour country wants to be friends with us then we should appreciate it. Even like all the serials which telecast on Zindagi channel. Pakistan have no objection in releasing Bollywood movie in their country then why we are creating problems? We should take things as they are rather bringing border issues in between. This is wrong and I dont appreciate it at all. Movie is a part of entertainment. And playing politics in pretext of entertainment is wrong. There is no harm in exchange of cultures.

Aman Rawat, Actor

Movie is all about entertainment and if any other country's film industry like Lollywood is interested in releasing movies in Indian then we should welcome the move. If Pakistani singers are previliged enough to contribute their work in bollywood then why to abstain things when it comes to Lollywood movies? Bringing border issues in entertainment field is wrong. Entertainment field has nothing to do with terrorism and other severe issues which both the countries are dealing with.

Sahil Patel, Actor (worked in Bajrangi Bhaijaan)

I also worked in Bajrangi Bhaijaan. This is wrong. Bin Roye should released all over India including Maharashtra. If we support the concept of brotherhood then why not to implement it properly? Entertainment should be away from political games.

Shrabani Mukherjee, Journalist

Its' not fair at all. Entertainment should not be bogged down by politics. But I have a problem with Zindagi's serials, although I used to love them but they kind of always showed women as people who are confined to the kitchen. I guess empowerment is yet to happen there but from an entertainment point of view we should be exposed to every kind of cinema.
