It refers to pre-fixing monarchy signs of 'Rajmata' and 'Shrimant' in 'Rajmata Vijayaraje Scindia Marg' and 'Shrimant Madhavrao Scindia Marg' in New Delhi. New Delhi Municipal Council should take immediate action to remove these monarchy prefixes from names of roads.
It is to be noted that there is no pre-fix like 'Samrat' in roads named after former legendry rulers like Ashoka, Prithviraj and others even though these were also popularised with pre-fix 'Samrat' before their names.
NDMC should also correct dual naming of roads by having only when one single name 'Sansad Marg' which is also called 'Parliament Street' in translated version. Even literature-rules do not allow popular nouns including names of roads to be translated.
