New Trend of Politics : Communalization of Crimes
Arunachal Chakma News | 01 Aug 2013

There has been a major breakthrough into the shooting case of Tongam Rina as the culprits allegedly involved in the crime came in at the hands of Itanagar police. It has been almost a year that the police and crime investigators have been relentless to nab the culprits. But now a respite and a happy smile would soar among the journalists fraternity since, the persistent efforts by authorities bore fruits as the accused culprits got charge-sheeted after having been caught by thorough forensic investigation. Now it has been quite clear that criminals are criminals as they don?t have society or Community and they fully deserve punishment as per the law of Indian Government. This is what locals of AP must be thinking if I got them right.

There has been a major breakthrough into the shooting case of Tongam Rina as the culprits allegedly involved in the crime came in at the hands of Itanagar police. Now it has been quite clear that criminals are criminals as they don?t have society or Community and they fully deserve punishment as per the law of Indian Government. This is what locals of AP must be thinking if I got them right.

Now, if one carries out survey on the causes and increasing crimes, one would not be surprised to find crimes are coming out from every sphere of societies. Surprisingly, AAPSU, the apex body of Students’ Union of State has always been found communalizing small issues of Chakma and Hajong people in Arunachal Pradesh. No doubt, there is no homage for any criminal in Chakma and Hajong Communities irrespective of his race, sex or tribes if he or she is convicted of a crime. Now a serious case of shooting to a staff of country’s fourth estate power has come as major breakthrough, so will again AAPSU be interested in pointing out blames to the Communities where those accused culprits belong to?

Perhaps everybody residing in Arunachal Pradesh knows well why the Apex body of students shows interest in pin-pointing Chakma and Hajong Communities directly for the crimes carried out by criminals who simply happen to put their titles as Chakma in their sure names. It is quite ridiculous to see and observe although thousands of crimes are reported happening in the world with culprits caught belonging to different communities. So for those crimes would it be justifying to blame thousands tribes or Communities for those thousands crimes? No matter how simply one can take but the fact is, it truly needs a serious thought before it’s too late.
