Pakistan school terror attack: All six militants shot dead, death toll may rise beyond 150

Taliban's terror attack on Army Public School in Peshawar was over now with all six militants shot dead and at least 130 students and school staff members killed in the attack. Terrorists were dressed in army uniform struck the school and killed children mercilessly.

A statement released by the Government of Pakistan termed terrorists as enemies of Pakistan, Islam and humanity and stated "The people of Pakistan are deeply shocked and grieved at the despicable act of terrorism in a Peshawar school this morning. The terrorists have once again shown that they have no regard for human life and no respect for children." Pakistan's Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif has called for an all-party meeting in Peshawar tomorrow, December 17, to discuss about countering of such terror attacks.

Indian leaders and other concerned people messaged on social media and tweeted on the horrific incident as follows.

Sushma Swaraj tweeted: In view of the massacre of innocent children in Pakistan, tonight's dinner hosted by me for Members of Parliament is hereby cancelled. The world community must unite and redouble efforts to root out terror from every country and society.

President Pranab Mukherjee tweeted: The world community must unite and redouble efforts to root out terror from every country and society expressed deep anguish and strongly condemned the terrorist attack in the Army Public School, Peshawar.

Syed Akbaruddin, spokesperson of external affairs ministry tweeted: We condemn horrific attack on innocent school children in Peshawar.

Sonakshi Sinha, Bollywood actor tweeted: Oh god! What's happening in this world. Times like these make you question humanity. Everyone please pray for what's happening in... #Peshawar.

Soun Sood, Bollywood actor tweeted: How can anyone kill 100 innocent students? Can't be humans. My heart goes to the parents of those innocent Angels…#PeshawarAttack.

Malala messaged: I am heartbroken by this senseless and cold-blooded act of terror in Peshawar that is unfolding before us.
