The great priceless sacrifice given by Lala Lajpat Rai can never be forgotten and the Punjab Government will take more steps for further development of the birth place at village Dhudike of fearless, courageous warrior. These views were expressed by Madan Mohal Mittal, Punjab Industries Minister on his visit to the birth place of Lal Lajpat Rai on his 85th Sacrifice Day celebrations.
Paying his rich tributes on this occasion, Mittal said, martyrs are the property of the nation and common for all categories of people. He said, Lala Lajpat Rai protested the Simon Commission during the British rule non-violently and sustained serious injuries by the police and sacrificed his life.
He further said, Lala Lajpait spoke with such vigour words that Every blow aimed at me is a nail in the coffin of British imperialism and provede historic by sacrificing the lives by the warriors of Independence Movement.
He said, Shaheed Bhagat Singh, Rajguru and Sukhdev also sacrificed their lives after getting motivation from Lala Lajpat Rai.
The sacrifice by Lala Lajpat Rai also produced number of warriors who immensely contributed in attaining independence to India.
He further said, We all should come forward to fulfil the dream of greater martyrs by reading the pain of their minds.
On this occasion, Mittal also bowed before the statue of Bal Gangadhar Tilak Rao and Vipan Chander Pal associate of Lala Lajpat Rai.
Mittal also congratulated the people on the occasion of Parkash Utsave of Shri Guru Nanak Dev Ji and said, we should come forward for service to the humanity by following the paths of our great gurus.
He however, assured to develop the Dhudi Ke and Chuhar Chak as Model village by preparing the Master Plan while paying his tributes to Lala Lajpat rai by former Minister and MLA Jathedar Tota Singh
Bibi Rajwinder Kaur Bhagike while paying tributes also motivated the new generations to follow the paths who sacrificed their lives for the independence.
Prem Chand Mittal highlighted the philosophy in detail of Lala Lajpat Rai while Mittal, Industries Minister announced a grant of Rs.2.50 lakhs to Lala Lajpat Rai Birth Place Committee Dhudike.
