IT IS a matter of disgrace for a university of international rapport that, on googling its name, people has to leave stun when they found news about a MMS scandal on the top of their search, instead of University’s courses details.

Recently, Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU) Delhi, one of the most prestigious university of India was in the news for the wrong reasons. An obscene MMS of its girl student has created a spark on the web.

Entire education spectrum of the nation went in a state of shock, when a MMS showing two hostellers in ‘compromising position’ has rocked the university.

The girl and the boy featured in the MMS are said to be the hostlers and students of School of Language. The video was shot some 6 months back but came to the administration’s notice just a week back.

The film was reportedly shot around six month ago by a couple of students of School of Languages. It is believed that the boy and the girl in the film, who are natives of Bihar, were provided with the equipment for shooting by a student of Computer Science. When other students of the university came to know about the incident, they bashed up the boy who had 'acted' in the film.

As per the Police, the blue film was made by JNU students with the motive to earn money and also suspected the involvement of a pornographic racket.

Reports say the video was shot in a room of Tapti hostel in the University campus, in which a girl was watching a pornographic movie while indulging in the sexual acts that are getting recorded by a camera. A third person was involved in this act, which shoots the movie and later, distributed the CDs.

This is not the first time that such obscene MMS has busted out. The last scandal to hit the varsity was in August 2009, when 19 students were penalized in an incident of ragging. Shocked members of the JNU community said the clip was an eye-opener on the erosion of values in the institution.

Now, the prime question is whether really our values are being eroding or it is relates with the personal moral values of the individuals who are being involved in such type of particular scandals.

Most of the time, such activities are being done for the purpose of intimate carnal delightment or for the purpose of swaggering.

Where as some time, the feeling of enviousness provokes the person to do such things. According to psychologist Dr Kizom, person is intend to do such obnoxious act of publicizing his intimate moment when he found himself jilted and beguiled.

And most importantly when he found himself in a plight situation where his partner who has left him is leading a gratify life with some other person.
