Punjab Computer Teachers Union threatens to boycott non-teaching work indefinitely

Ferozepur : On a call from Computer Teachers Union, all the computer teachers working in Ferozepur District have boycott the non-teaching work in the schools  affecting the official work, online data entry and other non-teaching work in the government schools.

 

Harjit Singh Sandhu, Punjab Computers Teachers Union, Ferozepur Unit said, “The computers teachers have decided to boycott the non-teaching work for three days as certain changes have been made in the regularization orders and completion of probation period formats”.

He further said, “The department non only pay the wages after three months apart from denying the benefits of medical reimbursement, annual increment, handicap allowance, CPF etc.”

In case there is no solution to solve the problems of computer teachers by July 27, then all the computer teachers in Punjab would boycott the non-teaching work indefinitely and they will be compelled to intensify their agitation for which the responsibility will be that of government, he added.

On this occasion, Lakhwider Singh Senior Vice President, Davinder Singh Sandhu, General Secretary, Jatinder Sodhi, vice Presdient, Navjot Kaur, President, Women Wing, Kapil Sanan, Gurbaksh Singh, Ravinder Mukesh Chouchan, Mintoo Thomas, Syal Dhawan, Gurviner Singh Cashier and in good number of members of the Union were present.
