Delhi undoubtedly has become unsafe for the women mainly for the young women, college students and professionals. Radhika Tanwar’s case raises a big question on the Security Council of Delhi. Now you can also compare Delhi with the Utter Pradesh because after this case you can’t believe Delhi in terms of the security.
College students and professionals now feels very unsafe while wandering in capital because nobody know what happened with them in a few seconds and nobody come there to help them even the Police.
Before this case I hope you all remember the case where a girl found in suitcase near New Delhi Railway Station, that time where the security of Railway Station was? People don't report such things to the police because Indian police stations are very unfriendly places to women. Delhi’s Chief Minster Shiela Dixit is also clueless about the security of Women in capital.
Now Parents feel very insecure because everyone is in fear that their girl might be the next Radhika Tanwar.
And same case girl who found in a suitcase is happened in Mumbai. In our liberalized country women are being projected as an object nothing else. In 2011, till now there are more than 300 cases happened related to women and out of these three hundred mostly happened in Capital.
Now we can imagine if this is the situation of country’s capital than what you would expect from the other states.
When will that day come when women are not projected as a source of entertainment, nobody knows.
