It refers to Union Railway Minister M Mallikarjun Kharge appointing Vivek Sahai as his advisor to counter Arunendra Kumar as Chairman of Railway Board, only because Arunendra Kumar was choice of another Union Minister rather than that of the present minister.
It is indeed an irony that Union Railway Minister has no say on appointment of Railway Board Chief and that is why perhaps Railway Board avoided giving file-notings on the appointment of Railway Board Chief Arunendra Kumar.
It is an unnecessary burden on tax-payers' hard-earned money on government-money unnecessarily being spent on another 'white elephant' over the existing one for ego-clash amongst ministers on appointment of Railway Board Chief.
Posts like of advisors, consultants at discretion of ministers must not
be there to save public-money.
