Trying his luck in political careeer for the third time
After taking a long time, the Aam Aadmi Party has announced Satnam Pal Kamboj, Advocate as its candidte from Ferozepur. Immediate on getting this news, there was a line of supporters and well-wishers of Satnam Pal Kamboj to congratulate him.
Kamboj is in advocate profession since 1978. He has also worked as an active worker of Bhujan Samaj Party from 1990 to 2011. He also contested from Guruharsahai Assembly constituency in 2012 but lost with a lions difference. He was also elected as President of Bar Association Ferozepur during 2004-05.
Satnam Pal Kamboj belongs to Kamboj community but starting his political career for the second time
In the 12th list of candidates for the Lok Sabha elections released today by AAP, includes 35candidates from six states including three from Punjab. Satnam Pal Kamboj, Advocate who started the campaign in the city on formation of government in Delhi, some time back well before the announcement of elections, is the AAP candidate from Ferozepur alongwith others two Yamini Gomar from Hoshiarpur and Rajesh Padam from Jalandhar.
With the announcement of Satnam Pal Kamboj, Advocate by profession as Aam Aadmi Party candidate from Ferozepur, it has put an end to all speculations about fielding of candidates by all the political parties.
The other aspirants for Aam Aadmi Party were former Director CBI, Joginder Singh, Daljt Singh Sandhu, Advocate, Ranbir Singh Bhullar.
The other major political parties have already fielded its candidates Sunil Jakhar from Abohar of Congress, Sher Singh Ghubaya of SAD-BJP, Ram Kumar Prajapati of BSP, Dhian Singh Mand of SAD(A).
Talking to the media persons at his residence today in the evening, apart from him, three more persons were also trying for AAP ticket from Ferozepur Chander Mohan Munjal Advocate from Chandigarh, Daljit Singh Sandhu from Ferozepur and Vinod Jiyani from Fazilka.
Conveying his thanks to the party high command, Kamboj Advocate said, he will do his best to win the seat and he will continue his election campaign like Kejriwal with the issue of corruption.
In reply to the question on about leaving the BSP, Kamboj said, BSP is also not free from corrption and on seeing the dominance by corruption in the party, he decided to say good-bye.
