Speech Competition held as part of the Republic Day Celebration in Assam's Bilasipara

AS PART of the country's 62nd Republic Day celebrations in Bilasipara sub-division of Assam's Dhubri District, a series of speech competitions were held at Bilasipara Public Higher Secondary School on January 23, 2011 at 11:00 am. The Sub-Divisional administration organised the speech competition in collaboration with Bilasipara Press Club.
The topics for the speech competition were: for group A (from class XI to degree classes)- "Significance of Republic Day"; for group B (from class VIII to X )- "A freedom fighter"; for group C (from class V to VII )- "Indian National Flag".
In group A, Shahjamal Ansari of Bilasipara College was adjudged first and Ashraful Alom Ahmed of the same college was adjudged second. Then in group B, Miss Nauseem Hoque of Sankardev Sishu Vidya Niketan and Dipankar Pator of KM Little Flower School jointly bagged the first prize; whereas, Mriganka Sarma of KM Little Flower School took away the second prize. Likewise, in group C, Shubham Chakrabarty of KM Little Flower School was adjudged first and Rishab Mazumdar of the same school was adjudged second.
